In this week’s Minecraft—I mean Math class, I introduced my students to the wonderful world of pixel art—ahem, geometrical patterns. Here’s the outcome!

Beware of Spider

Yesterday I was teaching a lesson about Survival of the Fittest when one of my students raised his hand and said, “Teacher, I’m sleepy.” So I told everyone to close their books, grab some clay and make their favorite animal. A student and I decided to make Spider, who uses his mighty web and eight legs to survive the treacherous world of Minecraft.
